THE INLINE UNIT is a central unit with the capability of heating more than one outlet at once. It is a replacement for the traditional tank water heater. If you had a tank water heater before, the inline can be installed in the same location. Be prepared to spend a few hours removing the tank water heater. It's big, bulky and needs to have water drained from it. It's not a one-man job. However, installing the inline is a one-man job (certified electrician/plumber). Weighing in at around 2.2kg's and about the size of a city phone book, this unit will prove to be much easier and cost effective to install.Which inline unit to purchase?
You will determine this depending on your incoming water temperature and the distance the water has to run from the unit to the outlet
Example
For incoming water temperature's of 26°C (Tropical)

• 5kW Excellent for situations in close proximity from Atmor to the outlet (20 Feet). For Studio to 1 Bedroom Apartment
• 7kW Ideal for a House with 2-3 bathrooms with a distance under 60 feet from the Atmor to the outlet.
• Houses with bathrooms further than 60 ft from the unit, recommend 2, 7kw Units

It is recommended to choose a higher wattage unit than needed, as the temperature can always be adjusted downwards with the temperature control switches. The purchase cost is only marginally higher.

INLINE HOTEL APPLICATIONS

Inline V/S Boilers. Maintenance on a boiler can be very expensive. When they shut down, there is no hot water for the entire property. Atmor's tankless heaters can be replaced in an hour in the unlikely event of a problem. Boilers burn electricity 24 hours a day even if the hotel is at 10% occupancy. Tankless Heaters are only on when the room is occupied, and when they are using the hot water.

• Save on plumbing. Run one line to the room and then have it split to a hot and cold. The savings in PVC pipe alone make it worthwhile, not to mention labor and future savings on electricity.
• These units unlike a central boiler, are not going to need a highly skilled and paid individual to maintain.
• One unit can often heat two bathrooms

Inline V/S Tank Water Heaters.

• Provides the extra space & guests can't leave the water heater on 24 hours a day.
• They will never run out of hot water.
• In the unlikely event the unit needs maintenance or has to be replaced, it can be removed by one person in 1 hour vs. an average of two people and three hours, needed to replace a tank heater. Replacing a tank heater includes draining (which can be messy) and removing the bulky tank which means downtime for a room.
• Atmor is Environmentally friendly, not only from the point of view of conserving electricity, but with conserving water. This becomes more important as the amount of clean water is reduced daily. Everybody who has stayed at a hotel has waited sometimes minutes for the hot water to reach them.

INLINE RESIDENTIAL & APARTMENT APPLICATIONS

Atmor heaters allow an apartment owner to attract higher rentals because more space is available for washer/dryer, storage etc. Owners can emphasize that utility & water bills are less.
