| Q. How long do I have to wait for
hot water?
A. A few seconds, may be 15 seconds at the most.
Q. Can I use the shower heater in my kitchen?
A. That is possible but there are also sink attachments, which are
available instead of the shower attachments.
Q. Will the Atmor heater ever overheat?
A. If the Atmor gets above 58° C too it will turn off automatically
until it cools down then it will restart automatically.
Q. Is it safe for children to use?
A. The thermal switch prevents the water from getting over 58 degrees
Celsius. Like all appliances it should be monitored when in use.
Q. Does it take up a lot of space?
A. No. Imagine the dimensions of a city telephone directory.
Q. Does it build up calcium?
A. No. Calcium does not build up at 58oC.
Q. What is the expected life span?
A. Many of our units are in service for more than twelve years,
without any service call. There is no reason that the units will
not work at least ten years.
Q. Does the heater use a lot of electricity?
A. No the heater only uses electricity when the hot water tap is
on.
Q. Can I use the heater for two bathrooms?
A. The Shower unit can heat one outlet at once, however the inline
unit is a multi outlet unit capable of heating as many outlets as
you have in a 60 ft proximity.
Q. Can the heater be used for two outlets at once?
A. The inline heats 12 liters/minute of water, so it is capable
of heating one-two outlets at the same time.
Q. How do I get the heater to the desired temperature?
A. There are three levels with switches numbered 1,2,3. The switches
light up when in the on position and the tap is on.
Q Can I install this myself?
A. No, only a certified electrician can install the unit.
Q. My home is wired 110V, can I use the 220V?
A. No. If your home is wired for 110V then only use the 110V unit.
If you have 220V in your home we recommended a 220V unit as it more
efficient.
Q. What about the risk of water and electricity?
A. The unit is completely safe and sealed from allowing water inside
and is ISO9002, TUV & UL certified. |
